Have l lost my pics for good?

can anyone help pse

my trusty old samsung slidephone has curled up and died on me

on it l had some photos of my dogs who have both since died

and they dont seem to be on the memory card
can these be recovered somehow ??

Quite possibly, but you are probably looking at professional data recovery if the phone cannot be powered up. Which does not come cheap-it all depends what you are prepared to spend. It would be cheaper to see if the phone can be repaired first-what's wrong with it?

well l put it on charge as it was on 2 bars on the battery indicator lve never let it run out completely .... and took it off when charged set my alarm, went to bed and that was it .... dead no alarm nowt

cant throw money at it lm afraid ... they are not the only pics of the dogs that l have so not too sad but just thought there was a simple thing l could do as lm not v good with teccy things

lve a new phone now so the lesson is to make sure pics are put onto laptop

by the way , how do you put them on to memory card on the phone:o

if your new phone is an android(most likely iphone/BB too) you can get apps to automatially upload the pictures you take to web hosting

Plug the PC lead into the handset and into the PC and see if the files are visible.
