After that Fed statement the FTSE will quite likely hit new lows tomorrow. The US had a chance to offer QE3 but they have thrown the markets to the wolves. China can't complain - that was the advice they gave. We are heading into a deep recession folks.
There will be plenty of stock bargains for quite some time.

It did fall quite sharply in out of hours trading but has since recoverd some what, currently about 20 points down on the close.0

Guess its rallied because the only other QE tool is to ease interest rates.
Why the ECB put up rates the other week - only god knows.
Its financial suicide & the resulting mess (Italy & Spain) proves it.
These policy makers have no idea about ECONOMICS- its not rocket science after all !!!0 -
To be fair to them it was looking like inflation was getting out of control but with commodities dropping heavily that is looking less likely so it's back to the old status quo.0
