Do i accept this or not, they wont let me cancel my contract

Short answer - yes. It puts you in the same position you would have been in - apart from the insurance - as you would have been if the insurance company had settled.

Now you need to get insurance elsewhere - which you might get cheaper, although 2 claims ain't going to help the premium.

yeah your right, up until an hour ago they were not prepared to help me at all they just said they can only apologise, since they have phoned me back and said they can offer me a new phone but not the insurance.

Try your house contents insurer, see if you can specify your Iphone on your current insurance policy (if you have it that is).
Or check if your bank account provides mobile pone cover - some do!

Saying that, unless you are ridiously careless (which you obviously are - so probably stick with the insurance), i would never buy phone insurance.
Paying £15 a month for 10 years, equates to £1.8k - how many phones would that buy you, especially when you consider that the longest you will have to do wothout your phone is to the end of your contract (max -24 months), until that you could purhase a cheaper phone, thereby saving yourself £15 a month.
