    Ah, well we only went to Mimsmere, Strumpshaw Fen & down to Sutton Hoo - very enjoyable though (collected lots of sweet chestnuts at Sutton Hoo!). The caravan park was right on the coast (we had a bit of a stroll) and it had a good chippy! :)
    So you didnt venture into Lowestoft town centre or seafront at all?

    ...but would have enjoyed seeing the seafront no doubt.

    can anybody tell how I get a priority booking ,I did go on one of these hol's last year and fancy a short break again this year

  • hi all... nice to see a sun holiday thread on the forums... i didnt know untill today about the sun holidays... first of all i saw it in the paper... then mum told me then i had a priority application form in the post :rotfl: i had already booked holiday in work but was debating if to go abroud or do my own uk holiday... well now i am doing a sun holiday :D just me and mum again... either to devon/wales this time... but at least i know what to expect with regards to waiting time and also the extra sevice charges etc... i have worked it out it cost about £150 (including petrol) last year... i have searched some of the parks we want to visit this and without petrol etc etc they are quoting £200+ for 4 nights... sun's the way to go... just waiting now till tommrow to start collecting the tokens :)

    you should have been posted one... the sun holiday i had in october was my first sun holiday and i got the form this time :)

    nah i am too... but the good thing is my mum works where they have the paper so i will only have to buy it for three days... fab or what :T the only problem i can see with this is i wont hit my saving target (see sig) but then again you only live once :rotfl:
