i cant believe it! out of curiousity i went on the haven site and put in the park that i wanted and the dates i wanted. it came out with Gold star (super luxoury) 2 bed caravan for 126 (sorry poundsign broke) that includes all linen, beds made up, microwave, entertainment passes & early check in.
i think this is a much better deal!
even the 4 star caravan was only 96quid a thats with linen an passes

i've read a lot about people finding better bargains via the retailer direct, but personally have never found anything cheaper than sun with haven. i have just looked at butlins in minehead and found half board for the same price as you - you've got me thinking about this now!

thing is i did donniford bay a couple of years ago and went to minehead, and there's not a lot in the area, so i think this time i'm going to go with my initial devon cliffs with haven - it's going to cost £80 all in all, which i still think is a great price

i forgot to add the insurance damage waiver thingy which the sun ( well keycamp) did bill me for last time and it states on siblu aswell which is an extra £14 per mobile home

so siblu = £504
sun = £107.80

so a saving of £396.20

I guess its a case of being selective. there are clearly good deals both with the sun or booking direct. I am looking around at both Easter and summer dates. The summer is definately cheaper with the sun.
