Tmobile admit 2G fault, 3G not available in my location;can i cancel?

I've had a contract with t-mobile for 6+ months, and recently started working in an area that does not get 3G coverage (it's a metal covered building) but I was fine using the 2G.

Now most days I get no reception at all and T have admitted there's a fault on their side with the 2G coverage in my current location due to a failure of their network. I would be happy to use the 2G were it available; is that fact that it's now not, and they havent given a time to resolve sufficient rights for me to cancel my contract an go with O2 (who do get a good 2G signal)?

Thanks
Andy

Only if you lost signal in your original location you'd have grounds for demanding cancellation. As it's some new area where your "recently started working in", IMO you have no grounds because no network guarantees coverage all over UK, especially indoors.

You have no grounds to cancel at all, TMobile don't guarantee indoor coverage, or coverage in all locations

What have they actually said? Is it a temporary fault and have they a fix date?

Have you tried roaming on onto Orange now they're mast sharing. They might have a closer mast ?
