When I had bunnies I used to let them run round the garden. Two problems though, they ate all my plants, and the female dug a massive burrow and would vanish down there when it was time to get them back in the hutch at night for safety. Bunnies take quite a bit of looking after but are entertaining pets. Chickens are easier (as long as you keep the dreaded red mites at bay)It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.
