On the market a long time often means a few re-taken photos too. Anything, rather than reduce the price!0 -

Some people in that area raise charity money with Christmas lights. I think it takes them months to put up & take down.

They were always on the TV hence why I remembered.
I would think that the seller wants to downsize but still needs money for their future. Maybe they are too old to get another mortgage & the property forms the only possible capital?
No point selling cheap to end up with a less desirable place & nothing left over to live on.0 -
