I bet that the house is only about 15 foot deep from front to back, and the back garden probably a strip along the back of it. Hence the EA being a bit cagey with photos, room sizes and floorplans. :undecided

Looks like a 'garden grab house' to me. Looking at Google Streetview, it seems to have once been a back garden of the end house on Charmister Rd. I wouldn't buy it.

440k for that! Properties like this make me think I'll never be able to buy :(

actually, I have to say I've driven past this place and every time I do I think god, I wish I could buy it and do it up. It's spitting distance from the Thames, right opposite the hampton open air pool on a beautiful tree lined road. Done up, you'd easily be looking at a couple of million. It's pretty big and would make a stunning home, just have to win the euromillions first!

Yes it's a great location and I also wish that wish to... Euromillions tomorrow 126million

Does feel like you need to win the lotto to buy a house round here :(

Has it got a garden? It looks like there's a block of flats where the back garden should be. There's nothing at the front, so pedestrians would be walking just a couple of feet away front any ground floor front windows and if it's on a bus route top deck passengers would be able to have a lovely gawp through the front first floor windows.
It could be that the roots from the large tree are compromising the foudations. Looks like a knockdown to me, unless someone is prepared to spend vast amounts of money on it.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

no garden, but there looks like there's be enough space for some decking or similar. I'd put up with it, especially as you are within easy walking distance of Bushy park and Hampton court. Like I say, I have dreamt of buying this poperty for the last 6 years or so, every time I drive past it.

I agree - I'd buy it like a shot for location alone. Want to go halves fawd1?!! It must have so many issues and problems otherwise it would have sold on day one.

Anyway, found this house today, half normal roof, half detached is so not a good look:

It's actually not that bad inside, although I can't stand galley kitchens - so impractical.

You do see houses all the time and think 'I wonder why they did it like that?'.

Just browsing and came across this property:

Look at the room sizes on the description - I don't think I would fit....
