Good job you never saw our last-but-one house - apart from other *stuff* we had 200 cases of taxidermy butterflies in the hallway

My inlaws have several cases of preserved butterflies they bought whilst living in Malaysia 30 years ago, they make me shudder to look at them even now0 -

I always wince when I see the comment "does require some updating" in the details of a house. I expect to see it back on the market some time later emasculated and with the phrase "upgraded to a high standard" or some such. Just like this one:

Cheap laminate flooring, a kitchen that will have fallen apart after 5 years, sterile garden and a bathroom out of a Premier Inn.
Give me "well maintained" and "loved" over "trendy" and "up to date" any day.Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

You want the kitchen, I want the G Plan coffee table in pic 7. That's worth a fortune. I also now really want a house with rounded corner windows... swoooooon. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I don't think that's cladding, from what I recall of the area it's the local building material!0
