And those stairs...are they safe???

We had a set of stairs like that for the attic room.
Are they safe? Ask the surgeon who did my knee op :eek:0 -
"In need of extensive refurbishment...." No kidding!

The odd thing is that the listing for the house next door, which sold October last year, shows scaffolding, so it looks like the owner gave up trying to fix it themselves. Hate to think what the inside is like!"No society can surely be flourishing and happy of which by far the greater part of the numbers are poor and miserable"Adam Smith6/300 -
Dude, seriously...how the f*ck do you get into your house?
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-22064181.html"The property is accessed from the roof terrace via wooden door with multi single glazed panel inset"So, I guess you get into it through the wooden door with multi single glazed panels inset on the roof terrace.Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

I suspect what Strapped is asking is "Where the f*ck are the stairs from the ground floor to the roof terrace?!!"
One of the pictures of the roof terrace (whose roof?!!) shows a hole like depression that abuts a wall just under a roof with really dire guttering.
Is that where the stairs are? Who knows? We only have 5 pictures to go on.
And, ahem *puts on Grammar Police hat* the glass is inset into the door, the door is not inset into the roof terrace.
*takes off Grammar Police hat* Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

It looks like a built in wardrobe set that's meant to fit around a double bed.
However, they've replaced the double bed with a king size which won't fit in the gap, has to be placed across the room and almost completely fills it making it look really cramped.
It's been shown before on this thread and surprisingly, it hasn't sold yet......... Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

Brilliant! The best part imo is the energy performance certificate. Things you can do to make your house more efficient: add loft insulation, add flooring insulation - and my personal favourite - cavity wall insulation. Que? Surely the most energy efficient thing that could be done is for the house actually to have a front elevation..Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Thanks Gingernutty, it wasn't supposed to be taken quite as seriously as StumpyPumpy took it. I also first wondered about the "hole" in the roof terrace but I think that the stairs drop off to the right as you look at the "front door" (think they are the wooden structure). But I wouldn't want to come back after a few ales and try to get into this flat. Looks lethal lol.
