I was quite excited and looking forward to seeing this exquisite front garden as I'm not sure what a 17th century parterre garden is but no pictures so I'll have to keep wondering.
Then in the kitchen, they have the idea of fresh flowers, but isn't it usual to take the plastic wrapping off first.....0 -

That was my first thought. If it's so freaking wonderful, why no photos of the front of the house? They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

WolfSong2000 wrote: »Top put the sheer ridiculousness of the Belgravia prices into perspective, my parents used to own a flat in Belgravia - bought in the 1970's for around £70k. They almost bought a house in Pimlico for not much more, which would now be worth in the tens of millions.
That would appear to be similar appreciation over the same period as in East Scotland, assuming the house to be worth exactly £10 million today.
Family home bought new in 1971 at £5,295, 3 bed detached. Sold in 2010 for almost £250k.
Roughly 40-45x appreciation in both cases.0 -
This is a stunning cottage at a great price, but the house has a bad case of the measles in pic 7, and the owners seem to have a bad case of something else per pic 5:
