OMG just think what the mortar will look like under that! Why would you let your house get like this? Awful & Ugly!
Edit - Actually not sure it's ivy - look on street view it's a red house!0 -

Yes, it's Virginia Creeper which means it will be nothing but bare stems all winter and there will be an endless supply of leaves to sweep up in the autumn.0 -

My goodness! That's bad.
When we moved in here there was ivy in the garden. Fortunately none near the house. It was up the trees and everything. My husband got rid of 40 big bags of the stuff. The trees are okay now though. There is no way i'd plant any, never mind near a house.0 -
Apart from the damage it does to the mortar, imagine opening your windows - you'd be inundated with beasties.0

Have a look at in in streetview!
It's quite pretty in the streetview picture!
They obviously don't use the garage regularly.
I'm sure the neighbours on both sides get inundated with leaves dropping off in the autumn. The new owners will have grateful neighbours if they decide to clear the climber away.0 -

very odd that the owners have let it get in that condition for so long (streetview photos are dated 2008), especially as the garden and the hosue in general look well-maintained!0 -

(Nice view though)Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0
