the pictures seem to be of 2 different houses. and it's not detached. If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -

I think the first photo is of the house, while the last photo is the view up the street (i.e. a photo of the other houses in the street)
It also lists two 'comparables':
83 Craigton Road house sold for £89,113... Dec 2007 (just at the tail end of the boom still?)
While 160 was sold for £80,000 but appears to have been in better condition:
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/detailMatching.html?prop=19343930&sale=20283386&country=scotland
And they've cunningly missed out all the properties which sold for (according to RM) 30k, 8k, 44k, 30k, 12k, 45.5k, 50k,...You were only killing time and it'll kill you right back0 -
yes - the street is a mix of houses - the pictures are all of the same place (apart from the one looking out over the rest of the street)
if I tell you it's in a little area of Glasgow known as Govan - it may help to explain a little some of the sales prices.0 -

The first pic is almost the house. That is, it is the one next door. The one for sale is the "half" shown on the left, the last picture are the houses across the road.
Take a walk with street view to see if you'd like to live there. It doesn't start off well by starting next to the burnt down houses and shops (though to be fair to the resilient Scots, one is still trading) Head past the house - note that the zombie also appears on street view (dated 2008, I guess even the EA was too scared to walk down there).
Pay special attention to the Post Office with no windows, followed by more boarded up shops and the "Tall Cranes" restaurant which seems to be trading despite the bricked up frontage. Even the Barber's windows have protective grills. Lovely.:eek:Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

Do you think this was a deliberate typo?Externally Renovated ground floor flat in poopular town centre locale0 -
the Tall Cranes is a public house, with no windows. The bricked up look is actually tiles - no idea why. The post office does actually get used, but it is more a newsagent than a post office (tiny afterthought of a counter stuffed away at the back - very difficult to gain access to when collecting the mail.
All in - it's an 'up and coming area'...0 -
