Have they fixed the rising damp?
We never had any problem with rising damp, mind you our flat was on the top floor!
We did get a letter from the freeholder just before we sold saying we should replace the missing gas fire - according to the freeholder it was a condition when the flats were built that they were heated by gas fires in order to stop damp. Nothing on the lease about it though! There wasn't a gas fire in our flat when we bought it. We ignored the letter and never heard anything more about it. I think gas fires in a studio room are asking for trouble really.Make £2025 in 2025

Ooh split second are you local? This is my hometownmaybe I shouldn't be admitting that, but I assure you it's nice at the opposite side of town :rotfl: The health centre opposite has been open over 3 years; the car parks soon fill up with all the commuters that were too slow to get a space on the metrolink car park up the road. The streetview is way out of date, the shops on that road change a lot and more are in use atm, and the health centre was still under construction then.
Aww it's sad to read 114 crimes in a month, the area isn't dodgy really, just stupid kids and muppets that hang about at night in the town centre..... there shops along there are used they're just not always appropriate to the clientele of Radclifffe town centre (eg there's a jeweller, a designer shoe shop and a shop that does bespoke tailor made holidays but only a small percentage of Radcliffe folk could afford it!)OU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0 -

I love this house - and I like the bathroom. But then I don't drink "If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. Hmmm a block of flats with 20 bedrooms in total and only 6 parking spaces.
Plenty of opportunity for squabbles there.0
