It's vile! Another example of people with too much money paying a "designer" to come up with an interior scheme.
Vile, but on the 2010 Trafford Design Awards shortlist , and never been lived in. If your stomach can take it, here is the original listing from Jan 2011: http://www.gascoignehalman.co.uk/eblast/4Beeches.asp at a whopping £14.95m

Planning permission was granted to knock down the old Four Beeches in 2005, though work didn't start until 2009 (you can see it still under construction on street view)

It is good to see that even footballers (Hale is full of them) can show some taste, despite the design plaudits.
Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

Pic 5 - is that Homer Simpson as painted by Edvard Munch?

Nope, it's a boxing poster. Note also the gloves above the bed.

Now tell him you don't like his patio. :p

(Pampas grass in the front garden though!)

I like that the 'patio' is almost in the street, lol.

Hadn't noticed that - it's very "English Riviera".....or perhaps not

It's hardly "in the street" - it just happens to be out the front of the house, as the front faces south. It's higher than the street, and there's quite a bit of garden before the road (which is also a cul de sac so no passing traffic). Maybe I'm just biased because we don't have a "back" garden either.

Ugh! At first I thought it was a bad first-floor extension (the brick colours don't match the ground floor), but Street View shows several similar houses. It's like they've turned their faces away from the neighbours.
