Coincidentally I'm just painting over a ceiling of the same (if not a bit deeper!) pink in our study at the moment. The walls were an equally fetching shade of blood red between the original oak beams :eek: Now I actually love colour and hate all this 'greige' that's en vogue and don't get me started on magnolia, but the previous owner of our house - and the owner of that chapel - had some very peculiar ideasMortgage-free for fourteen years!

Actually it's quite high for Ayrshire. Dont forget that the cost of living and salaries are a lot less up there than down south, and I can say that with conviction as I was born and raised in Ayshire
