Hurrah!!! So nice to see a bit of bright. Fed up with grey, grey, grey, grey, grey....:)
There is a fine line between successfully introducing colour into a home and failing miserably.
This one is in the failing miserably pile for me. How can you relax in a garish red and bright yellow living room. It is an assault of the senses!0 -

The fireplace is a bit odd in a house like that as well!0

I've see that similar effect in other places online.
Seems it is deliberate. Some obscure DIY colour grouting technique?0 -

Vendor obviously decided not to declutter or even tidy up before the estate agents came to photograph it!0

First I was like wow, what an amazing price...then I saw how close it was to the sea ..in norfolk on the east coast and saw why. I wonder what the insurance situation is?0 -

It is Mundesley, and I think it has been decided not to build sea defences. But I don't think that's the only reason it appears to be quite cheap. Look at this:
Chalet Park: There are 50 holiday chalets on site; 8 detached, with the remaining 42 being semi-detached, which extends to approximately 6.9 acres (2.79ha). The chalets stand on a freehold plot, but with a yearly ground rent of £8091 to be paid to the owner per annum. The chalets are accessed via the main spine road, through the site, from the main coast road.
So, the chalets have all been sold off, and all the owner gets from them is £8k pa. It's quite an administrative task to collect in £150 each from 50 different chalet owners. Plus, there may be repairing obligations on the site to be paid for out of that. I don't know exactly how much that income stream is worth, but maybe £100k?
There's a bungalow thrown in, but that's only £250k-ish.
Plus a couple of fields for keeping horses in, although they may have some planning potential.
It's not obviously dirt cheap at £550k, even if the sea doesn't sweep it away.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Posted this not long ago but it now looks like the tenant has vacated and took their chained up TV with them. :rotfl:
