possibly the most unrelaxing front room ive seen....grab a sofa each and stare at each other:eek:
My sister has 4 sofas, 2 chairs and 2 pouffes, all oversized, in her living room and it still looks empty! And if she has people round you're too far away to have a conversation so we've moved sofas right across the room in the past. She doesn't use the room much though. Wish I had a problem of having a room that's too big!0 -

A million £ house and there's so many bare bulbs!
Sometimes my OH and myself go out in the car to have a look at the big new build houses in town. I'd get a bit depressed at the thought of going back to my own house after looking at them so I usually get my OH to drive to the less well off part of town (i'm bad, I know) and I point out 'bare bulb, bare bulb!' whenever I see a...well...a bare bulb. It makes me feel a bit better going back to my own house after that.
Strike me down now.0 -
aww Jackie, the electic probs costs a fortune, no seriously the bigger the house the tighter the person who lives in it i allways think. they probably huddle up in the kitchen all day to share the one bulb and live on basic cupasoup:)***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0

OH and I use the 'England Flag Index' when we're looking for somewhere to live. When you're driving round an area, you count the number of England flags you can see - on cars, used as curtains and up as bunting. If there are lots, then we tend to move on ... I think I'll be struck down before you, Jackie0
