I just love 43 Roberts Road, New Edlington DN12 1JG> On with Purple Bricks for £85k and described by them as a wonderful home which "oozes charm". Really?
Someone needs Specsavers or a more efficient dictionary.0 -

Would agree whatever it is oozing, it isn't charm....0 -

But it does have potential. So that’s 50% right, which is not a bad honesty rating for an EA.0 -
Whilst on the subject of downstairs toilets, I give you one in the lounge.

Given the commode and other paraphernalia in that room and the size of other rooms. looks like that was a recent addon for someone elderly and disabled with mobility problems- they probably slept in the same room. Looks bizarre but it can mean the difference between going into a home and staying in the house you may have spent decades in or even grown up in. Specially if you have carers coming in.
Not so great for family visiting if you've just "been".0 -

Add those floral type fitted carpets to the coloured bathroom suites seen earlier.
Maybe a bit of stone cladding to go with it?0 -

That is precisely what I said when seeing the property. If adaptations can be made, it makes sense in order for an elderly occupant remain in their home. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
Bought my small terrace in the mid 90s, there was a dull orangey suite.
Similar to
Somewhere when removed there was an indication underneath it had a fancy name for the colour . Suffice to say, it was replaced with white.
There were a couple of similar in UK in 60s & 70s. IIRC Burnt Orange and Sunking:o
I see yours and raise you this one:p

It's fairly clean, not much sign of damp, presumably has a heating system as there're radiators ... apart from kitchen and bathroom someone could turn that round in a week with gallons of magnolia and some new carpets.
Compared to what we've seen on here ...A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
