I just love 43 Roberts Road, New Edlington DN12 1JG> On with Purple Bricks for £85k and described by them as a wonderful home which "oozes charm". Really?

Someone needs Specsavers or a more efficient dictionary.

Given the commode and other paraphernalia in that room and the size of other rooms. looks like that was a recent addon for someone elderly and disabled with mobility problems- they probably slept in the same room. Looks bizarre but it can mean the difference between going into a home and staying in the house you may have spent decades in or even grown up in. Specially if you have carers coming in.
Not so great for family visiting if you've just "been".

That is precisely what I said when seeing the property. If adaptations can be made, it makes sense in order for an elderly occupant remain in their home.

It's fairly clean, not much sign of damp, presumably has a heating system as there're radiators ... apart from kitchen and bathroom someone could turn that round in a week with gallons of magnolia and some new carpets.
