I noticed that, but it still an odd layout with the stairs coming out of the living room. Not the norm for 4/5 bed houses of that era.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
My initial thought was that it had been a pair of semis knocked through.
Looks a lot for the money but I've no idea what the area is like.0 -

From the outside view that's what I thought too, but if that is the case it means they decided to fit a new staircase rather than use one of the two existing ones which make no sense at all. Also the brickwork where the second door would be looks the same age as the rest of the property.
If you look at the streetview, it's a different style to all the other properties in the street. Maybe it was a self build (using architectural plans for a pair of semis as a starting point) which would explain the odd internal layout.0 -

Here's another nice old boiler, with some pine panelling, in what the agent laughingly describes as a breakfast room

At least there are plenty of 1970s oil-filled electric radiators to keep you, erm, not quite cold.
I'd be willing to bet that garden has rats in. Possibly even a couple of bodies.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
