My thoughts exactly! It's tiny, the 3rd "bedroom would barely take a single bed, the lounge is small, galley kitchen, downstairs bathroom, main bedroom is awkward shape and not much space. and what's with that wall in the middle of the garden! If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

Apparently, that has been reason for gossips to speculate it was used as a brothel or !!!!!! film studio.

And the ceilings look like they've got a nasty disease.0 -
500K is actually quite cheap for a house in London - even if it is in Tooting.0

I'd agree it doesn't look like much for your money, but London follows different rules. It's near an underground line that runs late into the night, and I know the area; as it's in zone 3, it's about as close to Central London as you can get without being forced to live in a flat. Don't know how easy the parking is there but the transport links would compensate.
It's close to areas that have already gentrified, nobody single would buy it but a working couple could afford it and believe it or not, there would be potential lodgers prepared to rent rooms even that small. The appearance of the place is very far from important. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

That third bedroom is just depressing. It sort of feels like they've converted the upstairs bathroom into a pointless third bedroom so they can market it as a 3-bed. Or maybe they've just missed a trick and not turned the boxroom into a bathroom so they could have a better proportioned living area/kitchen-diner downstairs.
Based on the size of the 3rd bedroom and location of the bathroom I think that's exactly what they've done.0
