I really don't get the seven month occupancy business. Is it intended to support tourism in the area?

Isn't that an area of the country where there are a noticeable number of temporary workers picking food on farms?

Could be 7 months is about "main picking season"?

I was wondering as well how come a "dual bed" like that is there in a 1 bedroom flat - as that's the type of bed that goes in a child's bedroom or guest bedroom (with the 2nd bed occasionally occupied by visiting relative or childs friend).

Hardly; they don't grow much veg on sand dunes.

One squint at the aerial shows it's holiday property territory with typical restricted use to the main season.

Yes total tourist town, closed over the winter. Family had a caravan and went loads as a child. wouldn't call it a total dump, that praise goes to Skegness

I live in the part of Devon that few people from elsewhere ever find, so I have problems with flat places and tourist hot spots.
