Here's an interesting one: Been on the market for over 3 years and last sold for around the same price 11 years ago.

I think I remember seeing this one on a documentary of London's affordability crisis. It's seriously depressing. In addition to asking why the hell the toilet roll holder is in the kitchen, I cannot see why the gated fence type thing is in the bathroom. Literally, no logical reason. Is it just to enhance the feeling of being in a prison??
Look at the Streetview!! Is that the estate agent doing it on the way home? :rotfl:Gather ye rosebuds while ye may0 -
There's nothing obvious, other than it's Grade 2, poky, restrictively linear and parts of the thatch look a bit suspect. Street View doesn't go there, which is odd, considering some of the dodgy roads they've visited near me.Here's an interesting one: Been on the market for over 3 years and last sold for around the same price 11 years ago.

There's certainly better value to be had in Devon, and with less hassle, but that area comes at a premium.0 -

Nobody with a double-digit IQ would currently design or build a house with such a layout unless they had take too many or not enough pills.
I'd knock it down and build at least one (or preferably more) better house(s) on the plot. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

My first foray into posting on this thread as usually I just lurk and giggle.
But what about this?

I could say look at the carpet, but then you might miss the character fireplace, and the mint green or lilac bidets!0 -

Being West Country - I'm used to thatched roofs and like the look of them. Being West Country - I certainly wouldnt have one personally (fire risk/insurance costs). Add the work to do on that one. Add I've got a suspicion it's got damp....
Make that a no then:(0 -
