It's owned by a housing association and the tenant probably has a secure tenancy that can't be ended if they keep paying the rent.

I remember when we wanted to view a local house that came on the market (that we called the batsh*t house, due to its crazy multicoloured and mirrored mosaic-ed porch), but it soon became apparent that whoever lived there had no intention of letting anyone in, so God knows what it was like inside!

Ah...now that's where I'd see it as glassed-in end of kitchen.

To me - it looks like that thing that barely exists on Planet Earth, ie a house where I wouldnt have to change one single thing (bar putting up curtains, as well as those blinds, at some of the windows).

That would be it = job done imo.

EDIT; Now that was a useful exercise personally imo. I've just checked out other properties from this EA. Right - I'm now all fired-up ready to insist upon my floor length curtains/plantation shutters/etc I've decided on - and people are trying to dissuade me from it on this recently-bought house and saying "Difficult...impossible". T'aint the case - a lot of these places have them.

How odd! I guess that the reception room shown in picture 7 was originally the kitchen, should be the kitchen? But they wanted another reception room so as a result there's now a really small kitchen for a 6-bed house.

It's near the heart of a very nice town- visited it a few days ago. Pretty prosperous, lots of jobs, Great place to buy a house.

But it has the Buckinghamshire secondary school place lottery. :(

Yes, I was born and bred there, and still live here 28 years later (I won in the secondary school place lottery luckily).

It has its issues (potholes mainly, and a couple of not so nice areas), but wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Looks like the front bedroom on the first floor is also being used as a lounge (pic 10)

Ridiculously small galley kitchen for the size of house!
