This is also pretty good for a semi-detached house with a view, though I'm not sure whether the grand style of the decorating fits the property or not:

Well, £600,000 does buy a lot in Huddersfield, but sadly that gorgeous house is in a really horrible location.0

The bit going toward the window is wider than the bit going away from the window, so you'd walk up the left side of the first bit, onto a little landing, then up the next bit. It's a pretty awful looking bit of construction, though. I don't think I'd feel safe on it. Plus I'd trip over all those beams in the attic. The whole conversion looks a bit bodged together.
Yeah, I'm not sure the stairs going up into the bedroom like that are legal safety wise.0 -

This house was for sale in 2013 (I think) at £845,000.0 -
You can get stuck with a bill for repairs at the end of the lease.
Is this really the case? I don't see how that could be enforced. Repairs to what exactly?
The lease would surely allow the tenant to live in the premises and as the lease ends the tenant would have to leave. But that's it.0 -

Tenants are generally liable for dilapidations at the end of the lease. Need to return it to the freeholder in good condition. I'm not sure that applies to residential property, or only commercial. That's why I phrased it as a question.
Edit... oops, I didn't phrase it as a question! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
