Well, £600,000 does buy a lot in Huddersfield, but sadly that gorgeous house is in a really horrible location.

This house was for sale in, I think, 2013 at £845,000. I wonder if it has been on the market since then.

The lease would surely allow the tenant to live in the premises and as the lease ends the tenant would have to leave. But that's it.

Tenants are generally liable for dilapidations at the end of the lease. Need to return it to the freeholder in good condition. I'm not sure that applies to residential property, or only commercial. That's why I phrased it as a question.
