Somehow, I don't think the original driveway is ever going to be reinstated....;)0 -
Down the drive, which is clearly visible on Street View.
However, I have a neighbour who shares a drive with me, and thanks to an agreement she made with the previous owner here to move it, there is now no way she can enter her garage, even with a Smart Car.
It's a mystery!
Was there an easement Dave? And did she go through the complicated process to give up the easement?“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

Spot the tripod, 'arty' shots and that toilet (!!!)
Also, the estate agent thought it would be a good idea to take arty close ups of bowls and bannisters but couldn't manage to put a floor plan together - pffft.0 -

It's not a 'straight off the road' driveway; it goes across our front garden. Years ago,, it went close to our house, but now it's virtually on the boundary 15m from the original route, which went direct to the neighbour's garage.
So, the neighbour can still drive into her garden to park, but there isn't room between the garage and the boundary hedge to turn a car. She has a wood shed in the way too.
I've no idea why all this was changed. There must've been some perceived advantage for the neighbour, but I still can't see what it might have been. Money doesn't look likely.
Anyway, spotting the obvious discrepancy on the title plan when buying, we insisted on a deed of variation to make the current arrangement legal and permanent.
Now, we're about to open up the old drive, just for us. Makes sense.0 -
Why two cookers, pic 5.

And, more bizarrely, why listed £30k cheaper on the same day?

Odd mixture of a house.
The first thing that strikes me though is the odd front garden flooring of the neighbour to the right - ie stripes and the way it continues right up to the house wall of this house and it does look very "deliberate". Add the wheelie bin blocking wooden panelling that one would have thought was a gate to the back garden of the house for sale.
Would be interesting to know what the answer to the question about neighbour disputes is on that one....
I can't tell myself - just from looking at that photo - whether the house should or shouldnt have that back gate access there.0 -
Why on earth would you think that back gate belongs to anything other than stripey garden house?0

Is it for shi**ing bricks? You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose.0 -

Because I cant see any other way for them to access their back garden except through their house - but the neighbour the other side does seem to have such access (2 doorways there) and it's such an odd way for the right-hand neighbour to have their garden (ie those stripes) and hence wondering if they are "making a point".0
