It continues to amaze me how some people present probably their most expensive asset ever for sale. I just don't understand it. Surely most sensible people would at least tidy and declutter even a little bit!
Plus I hate it when owners, that knew the EA was coming around to take photos a week or so beforehand, do at least a load of washing earlier that day and there are photos of washing drying somewhere. One property my parents had the details of, there were undies on the line.

This house confuses me http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-52471901.html
Picture 1 - front of house
Picture 2 - seems to be the smaller of the three bedrooms on the first floor, if the bay window is anything to go by. The right hand window seems wonky.
Picture 3 - one of the two larger L shaped bedrooms, they don't specify which one.
Picture 4 - a view of two doors leading to the L shaped bathroom and one to the separate WC.
Note - there doesn't appear to be enough room for hand washing facilities in the toilet cubicle and the bathroom door is glass panelled and has a venetian blind.
Picture 5 - a view from the main entrance hall into the L shaped kitchen.
Picture 6 - appears to be what the floor plan calls the breakfast room but seems to be used as a utility.
Note - anyone sitting down to breakfast under those wall cupboards risks concussion.
Picture 7 - the fourth bedroom in the eaves of the house. Referred to as a studio on the floor plan but lacking kitchen or bathroom facilities, the room rocks parquet, bespoke wardrobes which seem to fit the slope of the ceiling and, worryingly, support posts.
Note - a structural survey might be in order.
There are no photos of the majority of the kitchen or bathroom, the living room is missing, as is one of the four bedrooms, there's no view of the inside of the garage and a shot of the 24' garden wouldn't have gone amiss.
A dark, strangely laid out house with an odd arrangement of internal doors - the living room door from the hallway opens into the hallway instead of into the room with potential for Fawlty Towers style prat falls. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

Noooooo! Embrace them and welcome their obvious naivety. :cool:0 -
Here's a good 'un.....
Buy this for £375k and get to live in a bedsit, while the person who has all the rest pays beggar-all in rent....

I can envisage viewers turning-up, hoping that the sitting tenant doesn't look too young or sprightly.
Just how loud do you think the sound system might go in that bedsit? Eleven perhaps?
Omg have you seen the enery efficiency!!! Wow I thought houses with roofs missing only went that low.
Also house sold just over 2 years ago and price far lower so shows you buyer wants rid!!0 -
lol now you see me.... now you don't.0 -
And the EA
Those low walls making alcoves makes it look like a medical centre waiting room sadly:oBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

no kidding!)

The house is indeed already dark enough, but the only natural light into the study (see floor plan) comes from the living room window - and what about a photo of that room (which eats into the somewhat 'compact garden) at the back of the garage (which is all of 2.29 m wide - squeeze - and has a rather unusual construction, judging by the view of the front)? Seems rather dubious to me - and all for just half a million plus :eek:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. You're absolutely right.
The longer you look at the floor plan, the weirder it seems to be.
The[STRIKE] studio[/STRIKE] study is a glorified cupboard without a door.
The studio bedroom sits on top of a room containing a small shower room with toilet, which can only be accessed via the garden. So, in effect it's a three bedroomed house with a two storey, luxury shed.
The garage is huge, but there is no other way in or out except via the front doors one of which seems to be a bulging plastic bubble.
!!!!!!??
Also, being of a clean freak nature - the state of the fridge handles in the breakfast/utility room.:huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0
