Looking at what is written on the bathroom wall, I wonder what the script on the toilet seat reads.0 -

"The Cat Drinks From Here if You Leave The Seat Up!" doesn't seem to fit.0 -
I fear it's the twee "if you sprinkle when you tinkle, be a sweet & wipe the seat".0

The Union Jack room in pic 15 is hideous as well. I'm not very patriotic!Mortgage received 21/12/2018

Its even worse! I enlarged it and you are right, but it has the even tweer (is that a word?) ending of 'be a sweetie and wipe the seatie'.......

Probably not, but worse. It started life as a BISF steel and concrete panel house, and it's still semi-detached to one that hasn't been 'fixed.'
Distraction technique worked, but only for a moment! :rotfl:Truly hideous find, though.
Much though I don't like to criticise others hard work, that is really horrible. I must correct the bit about a BISF house being concrete paneled as it's not, it's a very standard steel-framed structure much like most commercial and industrial buildings (offices, skyscrapers, supermarkets, warehouses, barns etc) and therefore nothing wrong with it. Just rather unusual for a building as small as a house.Solar install June 2022, Bath

Apologies. I stand corrected, but it remains the case that BISF houses are harder to mortgage and insure, having a projected lifespan of 60-70 years, though I'm sure many will go on much longer than that.0 -
