More to the point, can anyone explain the attraction of a bungalow that you can only reach by climbing a staircase? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
When I'm looking on rightmove is there any way to exclude properties that are being sold at auction?0

Someone likes metal work very much.
I actually do like parts of it but some photos, esp photo 9, make me think of a huge metal spider web.0 -

That house is hideous! 2 million euros, who'd want to live in a house like that! It reminds me of some of the people on "Grandiose Designs", they build a huge, two bedroom monstrousity, always with a "glass atrium", and spend two years getting it to their spec and spending way more money than they budgetted for. Then one day they want to sell (probs couldn't stand to look at their own built house anymore) , who buys the house? Seriously, I would love to know;)KEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0 -

I like some of it too. I think they have overdone it, but some of it is lovely. I love the idea in the bathroom of having the sink pedestals made from large vases.0 -
Hope my house doesn't appear on this thread :eek:0

Less would be more in this instance.
Like the mosaic work on the outside of the house though (wonder about maintenance though). They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
Lovely house, perfect for the local Drunk. The blue building next to it is the local Pub :rotfl:

:rotfl:OMG you see the Kitchen wall unit on the left side of the picture, (the one with the glass in) I have one of them! I painted it red and use it as a shoe cupboard!Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0 -
This one is at the bottom of my road where someone has converted their garage into a 'bungalow'. Backs onto the alley between the houses and entrace is off a small private road that belongs to the Renault garage (as in mechanics) 5 ft from the back corner of the house!
The pictures don't seem too bad but everytime I see I just think - but it's a garage!! If you go to Street VIew and rotate so the park is on your right it's the garage of the house on the end - you can see the grey Renault garage in the background.
Now on it's 3rd EA (started at an eye-watering £195k) and husband cycled past earlier this week as new EA was putting up their board and old EA was taking theirs away and overheard a sarcastic 'good luck' from the departing EA!!
