How often do Tesco have decent £10p/m sim only deals?

Hi,

My Tesco contract has expired and having often seen similar deals to what I'm paying now (£20p/m, 1GB data, 250 minutes on an iPhone contract) for just £10 I was keen to move.

The problem is that the current deal available to me is £15p/m and is the same as what I'm on now, just with half as much data.

I've noticed that GiffGaff do some really good deals (£10p/m for unlimited texts, 250 minutes and fully unlimited internet) but I'd need to get my phone unlocked, and also have to find a way of getting a GiffGaff micro sim, not to mention the hassle of having to manually renew the goody bag each week and the fact I'd need to mess about moving providers isn't too tempting!

So I was wondering, how often do these deals usually come about? If it's every 6 months I'll just bite the bullet and go with GiffGaff, if it's more regular I may just stick with Tesco and hope for a reasonable deal to come along...

many thanks neil, but the £10 contract currently at Tesco doesn't have any data does it?

Sorry,you are right.Thought they still included data.You will definately be better off with giffgaff if you get your phone unlocked.You could try to phone Tesco directly & see if they would offer you a deal.
