    I will also:
    • knit another 3cm of sock at lunchtime to avoid going out
    • free drinks/crisps/nuts at the pub after work (1st Friday of the month :j)
    • dinner from stores tonight
    • make a cross-stitch New Home card for friend using hoarded supplies - should be fun after a beer or six :D

We drove past Sunny Beach when we stayed in Bulgaria a few years ago. We flew into Burgas airport and stayed in a village called Zdravets, about an hour's drive north on the way to Varna. The Black Sea was stunning, even on a chilly day in November. :D

    Hi everyone,

Weekend at last! Manic day at work today so this is my first chance to check in - hope everyone's had a good day!

    Today I have/will:
    • Checked banking - done one account, need to check the other
    • Checked TCB :( no closer to payout!
    • Checked Ebay no more watchers :(
    • Worked hard - tidied my desk and did all the washing up before leaving so will be nice and clean and happy for Monday morning!
    • Avoided chips for lunch by putting one of my 'ready meals' from the works freezer in the microwave
    • Had a free sample muffin for pud
    • Convinced my boss to buy me a Friday Crunchie!
    • NSD so far - failed yesterday and bought a bottle of tonic to go with gin I already had - although at least it was only 55p rather than £4 for a bottle of wine!
    • Neeeeearly finished my essay - just got to read through and submit!
    • Got money back my boss owed me, and gave bank details to other colleague for her to send money she owes me
    • Checked when MOT due - still over a month away

I think that's it! Hopefully will continue my NSD tonight - still have tonic so will drink that for my Friday treat!

Stitchy - thanks for the Micro$oft money advice - will perservere, I love numbers too! I think it's the $ that put me off a bit - will have another nosy!
Ixia - well done to your daughter!
and of course, DNMS, thank you for starting the thread!

Right, off to finish essay and submit, am a bit ahead of the reading for my next unit (after accidently doing most of it a couple of months ago!) so going to enjoy my night, and look forward to family coming down tomorrow with little kiddlywinks!

    Have a great night all!

:) Booked one nights self-catering accommodations, two nights in a hostel and a night's camping for under £155 for my OH and I.

P.S. Lastminute.com are rubbish, IMHO. Spent two hours trying to book. It shows vacancies where there are none and takes you all the way through the booking process before saying that the hotel's no longer available. In the end I booked by phone, the old-fangled way.

today i have stripped all the bedsheets and they are all blowing nicely on the line. Managed to get a nights respite care for my disabled daughter (love her to bits but need a break). Dropped her off. Went to friends for a cuppa. just popped into my local 'home bargains' for a few bits. Hoovered all upstairs which was minging. the hoover was in meltdown. Hubby bought a chicken and pasta salad for tea. So we are going to watch harry potter on the tv tonight and chill with wine !!
