Upgrading early?
I'm with orange, on an 18 month contract, that doesn't run out until march 2012, and i can't officially upgrade until january. However, i was told when i got the phone that i could upgrade anytime after 3 months, but i would have to pay more a month, does anybody know if this is true?
My phone is falling apart, and out dated, i want something new and since it's only £15 a month, i wouldn't mind going for more for a better phone.
My other option would be just buying a new phone, and using my sim until the contract runs out.

Total payment recieved from GPT etc as June: £0.00

I think you'll find you have it the wrong way round, you can upgrade in the final 3 months not after the first 3 months. They need to recoup the cost of the once shiny phone you were given0

I know you can upgrade in the last 3 months, but when i bought my phone, i remember them telling me i could get a new phone after so long if i was unhappy, providing i paid more each month. I'm guessing this was just lies?
I'll probably just buy a new phone then.Total payment recieved from GPT etc as June: £0.000 -

On an 18 month contract you can upgrade after 15 months (90 days before the contract end date). Any days left on the contract will be added onto the upgrade length. (EG 12 days left, would be a 24mth & 12 day contract).
You're able to downgrade your price plan to a lower one after 9 months however.
Unfortunately, your not able to change your phone, and pay a higher amount.
Hope this helps you!0
