  • After previous post asked my son if he enjoyed his holiday with the "oldies" and he said it was good and he would not have wanted to go out and do anthing different in the evening as the days were enough for him - a few days were were out for upto 9 hours. Some of us at 50+ are not over the hill and still enjoy doing the things we did in our 20's and 30's :rotfl:
Which one did you choose? - We have done 2 tours to India with Kuoni and they were good.

Can't help with the insurance as we do ours with the oldies company.:D

I first when to Goa when only 12.
My cousin has a flat there and have been there many times in the last 10 years.
It has changed a lot. But it is a large area and the charactor and atmosphere change from one part of Goa to the other.

And don't forget to visit Kerala. I go there every winter. Mid-November to mid-March is the best time.

I have never been on a package tour so no comments on Kuoni or Thomas Cook.
Rough Guide and Lonley Planet publich many guides on India.
Both have loads of info at their websites.
