Christ I hope this finally puts to bed the whole Suarez/Evra thing.

It's distracting from the fact that Spurs are now really !!!!ing good.

It has really become quite dull. The stupid thing is, if a Liverpool PR had said at the start, "Whoopsie! That means something different in Uruguayish. He didn't know and now he does it won't happen again" with his fingers crossed behind his back then the whole thing would have gone away and Suarez would have ended up with a 2 match ban.

Not for me it's not. We really are quite !!!!ing good right now.

If we beat Woolwich Wonderers next week we'll be 13 points ahead of them with 12 games left to play.

Nothing can possibly go wrong now.

We're playing Stevenage next week in the cup Gen. One benefit of dropping out of Europe earlier is that whilst the other teams are playing in Europe this week and next we'll have a fully fresh squad for both the Stevenage and Arsenal games (I expect Harry will start with a strong squad next Sunday to kill them off early, seeing as the next game is a week later).

Well he is a useless manager.

His CV reads like a list of failure (like most of them)

It's the big positive, for me, of US corporates in any field: they simply won't tolerate racism. Australian, French, German, Japanese, English and Swiss all will IME to a greater or lesser extent tolerate racism (among Aussies and Japanese it seems positively encouraged).

More likely they won't tolerate the negative publicity the affair has generated, especially now it has found its way across the pond.

Maybe McCarthy could be a contender for the next England manager

After all, the only half decent job he did was as manager of the Republic, and being a good old Barnsley boy he is 99.9999999% English.

I heard that the pressure to sort this out came from the sponsors.

Bankers aren't all bad you know! I used to work for that mob and they were a very decent bunch. I physically destroyed $69,000,000 when I worked for them!
