Is it an estimate? If it is, supply a current reading ASAP. Work out how much it should be by using the reading taken when she moved in (she did take a reading I hope!) subtracted from the present reading. There is information on the reverse of the bill regarding calculating the cost.

Did she take a reading when she moved in? Is this bill covering some of the time when she was not an occupier?

nah she gave a reading on moving in, im just guessing it is a very expensive option being with briitish gas so she is probably more than likely going to be looking for a change

What does she use gas for? That's a rediculous amount of gas. Does she have the gas fire on constantly?

Also can we confirm - what was the reading she supplied when she moved in?
Did she move in on the 18th September?
What is the current reading on the meter (today)?
What are the 2 reading listed on the bill "present reading" & "previous reading"?

I'm being nosey here, but I worked that backwards to be 815 units (m^3) (corrected) which is 797 (m^3) before correction. So the only thing that can be wrong is the calorific value used...Did they use a calorific value of 39.3077 ?

Which would actually annoy me because my last calorific value used 21 Nov was 40.0125 which would give for 812 m^3 9229 kwh which is about £4 more :rotfl:But I digress.

I also work that out to be £293 not £291 so that's odd aswell.

But Anyhoo purely on price assuming the meter is working ok

    9066kwh British Gas £291
    9066kwh Ebico Equigas £231 A saving of £60 over those 3 months :)
