paying euros cash,travellers cheque and pre paid cards

going away in 3 weeks to get married overseas wanted to know best way to get euros,i have to pay for my wedding in euro cash only,is traveller cheque the best way to go here?Its not something i have used much do you get fees taken when purchasing or cashing these in overseas?
I suppose i could take euro cash is there a limit you can take into a country as cash say greece or would cash not be a good idea?
Whatever happens i do need to pay in cash euros.

Also for the rest of my holiday i am looking to get a pre paid card i was looking at carlton fx as does not have any fees but i hear maybe the exchange rate is not as good as others is it that bad or not that bad?was also looking at mytravelcash is this any good?
or do you guys recommend any cards that are free of charges and have a good exchange rate

Sorry to high jack your post but I am in a similar boat. Getting married in Ireland and need to pay cash so wondering if I should get out here or do it over there?

You have already created a thread(and received answers) on the Prepaid question.
Why should anyone waste their time if you are not going to take note of the advice?

I did not notice i had another post with same questions but lets say the other did not have anything to do with traveller cheques which i now have asked about also

Travellers cheques will cost you to buy, probably cost you to cash (and may be difficult to cash at all) and will cost you to change back if you have any left over.

Their redeeming feature is their security. In most circumstances they are not worth it.

well i am looking for the best options to pay for my wedding day when i go away overseas thats why i asked about traveller cheques,and also a pre paid card for keeping money in for my two weeks over there my wedding day needs to be paid in euro cash only so would be risky i think taking euros cash with me more so when my wedding day is almost the end of our two weeks trip,
I wonder what other options i have?
