Off on another wii hunt, Have given up in the stock checkers etc, didn't even show the Woolworths ones. Trying to think of other stores. Don't forget the bundles at gamestation tomorrow about 10 ish, from here: http://www.gamestation.co.uk/images/category/wantawii.asp
Back later with more good news I hope. Karen0 -
Well, E-Bay is still going strong. Sold 3 of my 4 today for £250 each. Just 1 UK Spec one left.
That'll go most of the way for paying for my kids' one - so i guess that makes me a good money saver.0 -
didnt want to spend £300 quid on it0

I was lucky enough to get one from John Lewis by updating the page, but we walked into the Woolies in Ringwood on Friday & they were on the shelf!!!
We rushed to the desk, to be told that they were all reserved ones, but if we put our name & credit card details on their waiting list, they'd get it ordered & paid for as soon as they were allowed to. We decided to go for it as Little Bruv wanted one and they phoned us today!!
I'm expecting a confirmation call tomorrow to tell me it's all gone through, then a date for delivery - £283 for the Wii Console, Sport, Wii Play & 2 games of choice- we're all happy then!
It might be worth a try going into your local Woolworths - especially if it isn't a huge one - good luck to you all!!

It always worth asking stores. I am sure someone said in one of the early posts that they asked in local Argos store and the end of the trading day and got one. If your in town might be worth hanging on to end of the trading day.0

I am beginning to think I must be incredibly stupid or naive.
If I managed to find a surplus Wii I would sell it at cost to someone who needed one for their children. To know that I had helped make a child happy would be enough for me.
But hey, maybe I am stupid as I still have faith in human nature.
Each to their own I suppose....Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

Thats very good of you Clutterfree. I almost bought one for my OH friend from Amazon but I was told I would have problems getting the money off them so I thought I wouldn't bother as I cant afford to subside them, but if I got the cash back straight away I would have0
