nokia8800. Woolworths have always delivered any they have sold and also contacted people when they arrive in their shops, who have been on the waiting list. Also why can you not get any now. I have taken this from Woolworths delivery page, which may be the reason they have given the date of 10th and remember their last batch came earlier than was quoted.
Supplier Direct Deliveries (Some items may be shipped direct from the supplier to your home)UK Mainland only A range of parcel carriers will be used depending on the destination Lead times are indicated on the individual product pages. Can range from 7 – 21 working days £4.95per order

As I was the one who posted the Woolworths availability, if you don't get 1 by the 10th I will send mine to you for free, also from Lancashire as we are very generous people up here.
  • Says not available and won't allow you to put in basket.
 Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.
  • Thats a bit more re-assuring but i ordered my wii to go to my local Coventry store - will that make any difference?

They still come from the suppliers to Woolies itself, so don't think so. Karen

    I've got one!

Well, it's not in my grubby hands yet but it's all paid for and I am just waiting for it to be delivered.

My son was in Woolworths on the way home from school today and said that a man infront of him asked about Wii's and was told to register now and just after 6pm someone would call him back, take his details and get him to pay for it via a card and a Wii would be his. My son ran all the way home and we then ran all the way to Woolies to get our names on this list. They called us at 6.46pm, just when I was starting to get worried too!

Anyway, its paid for and should be with us before 10th December so just keep your ears and eyes open or go and ask in Woolies about their waiting lists!

Not quite the same, but I ordered a PS3 package from woolies for delivery to my local..small..store. I was given an estimated delivery date..told I'd hear when they had it.. but didn't receive anything further. The date came & went..I heard nothing. The next day I rang my local store only to find it was sitting there waiting for me...so it may be worth a 'phone call around the expected delivery date.

Oh, while we were in Woolies registering someone called up asking to be put on the list for 10 Wii's!

Both my husband and I told the Manager that was out of order....he will probably be putting them on ebay anyway. I do hope he only let him have one. It's just not fair on everyone else is it!
