Wii's Spotted or Wanted. Please post all availability for the Wii here

I have just been on the carphone warehouse site and it states that the wii would be dispatched after 14days of the contract starting and to allow 7 days for delivery. I may be wrong but i would very much doubt if anyone received there wii before xmas. With all the major retailers struggling big time to secure stock - how does carphone warehouse secure so many wiis when they sell thousands of contracts a day.

I checked the terms and it said that all orders placed before 7 December will have the free gift despatched before 20 December.

I'm not going to hold my breath but i'll be more than happy if it arrives!

I needed a new phone anyway so fingers crossed I've got both in time for Christmas

I wondered the same with the ebay sellers - where the eck do they find all their wii's?!!

Just had an afterthought. My OH's brother works at Carphone Warehouse. I should have had a word with him before ordering online. Me and my impulses ;D

I ordered a Wii with woolworths today, logged out of my account and tried to log back in - but it says invalid username id. I know the password is 110% correct. I think i might have put the wrong email address in.

What should i do as the email address i thought it was has received no order confirmation or any emails from Woolworths.

I ordered mine on friday morning from argos price 249 it came this morning but i rang argos to make sure i was gettin it and he said yes you are and its being delivered by dhl but it came this morning it was delivered by a van with the name home on it and this van and driver deliver my littlewoods items aswell

Have you checked spam? My woolies emails always go to my spam folder - otherwise ring them and ask them to check you address/cc details against orders placed.

Incidentally I am not guaranteed a Wii - mine also says back order or pre-release so I shall keep looking.
Whereabouts roughly are you in the UK? Maybe some kind soul will keep a look out too, if you are not too far away for collection.

Right, listen up folks.... I may be wrong... but please bear me out.

There have been a couple of "Bursts" of Nintendo's over the past 6 weeks or so, and every time, there has been an advert for Wii Games of some sort on primetime TV, a day or two before they arrive in the shops.

Nintendo are not stupid, so I would not think that they would waste a considerable amount of money on advertsing just to promote e-Bay.

I would suggest that a couple of containers have arrived in a port somewhere in the UK.

I am in Coventry - been offered a Wii at just a bit over rrp price plus postage but i am just a but dubious out paying into a bank account for a person i have never met and just spoke to on the phone.

If you type your order number in - it says delivery date which says 10 dec for me which is a monday and the start of my week off in which i will be searching for wiis all day long lol.
