it makes sense for Nintendo and reatailers to take orders on the allocated stock on a pre determined delivery date, as they dont want the public to buy alternate consoles and lose the sale as well as associated games revenue. They have to balance this with taking too many pre orders and being unable to fulfil in time for xmas . If they are 100% certain of receiveing stock they will take exactly that many orders ....0

Don't think I'll get it though as there's sure to be a bidding frenzy for it!!!0 -

100% agree. Was just putting myself in the shoes of somebody who now thinks they have ordered a Wii for Peter and Jane and in 3 weeks time it still hasn;t arrived. What do you do then?
All probably irrelevent and like i previously posted. Let's wait and see. I'm sure somebody will update us.0 -
£279.... err yeah, what a steal that is!!!
£100 over the normal price, i'm sorry but that is no "Quick, Grabbit!"
Maybe not, but still £100 cheaper than some on ebay. Someone on here may be grateful for the information if you arent.
So really there was no need for your post was there?0 -

I would like to have that problem , I would probably still continue searching (casually) any surplus console I would return/sell. I suppose being the cynic that I am, I wouldnt be happy until I physically had the console in my posession0 -
