Don't want to pay more than £250 "on principal". But I am considering blowing my moral high ground just to get my life back . . . I can't carry on like this . . .

Did anyone manage to get one from their local Game shop today?
It may be worth contacting them in the morning as some deliveries that didn't arrive by 12 would not have reached the store until 5pm.
Gotta be worth a call. That's where I got mine from today. And the information that lead me to finding out that every single store in the uk was having a delivery today came from one post on here re the Wolverhampton Branch. I called them and thats what they said. I got mine in Nottingham who also confirmed all stores were getting them.

Good Luck and don't give up. They are coming through if you look for them x

My Amazon Wii now says despatched, and tracking says its at Parcelforce (!) hub and estimated delivery has come forward to Saturday. This was with paying the £2 extra for 1st class del.

Interesting point ... I just did the click thing, no extra delivery, and now its showing it was dispatched at 5am, due Saturday...

That 1 click thing is Vvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeerrrrry dangerouse

Just in case Amazon offer some more up tonight (I guess not, but good luck), here are some tips from my experience last night:

    1. They listed them from just before midnight for just over an hour.

    2. They listed them in small batches, so they came and went over the time.

    3. The wii stock locator I was using didn't see them, it was thanks to a heads up here I got one.

    4. It took me 40 minutes to get one. Often I got one, it was gone before I got to pay.

    5. I had to enable one-click buying to stand a chance

    6. I upped my IE cache to 100Mb and made sure it WAS NOT set to update pages on re-vists to minimise page refresh times

    7. They would go out of stock in around about 20-30 seconds from appearing (although the web page took a while longer to reflect this.

    8. To get one, I had to click one-click, confirm the card, and click to complete *really quickly*. The time I managed to bag one I was probably there in sub 10 seconds.

    9. If you get a "sorry this is no longer in stock" and it moves it you your "saved items" you can use the grey "move to basket" button repeatedly to catch one and kick-off the buy process when they re-appear (which felt like about every 2 minutes). This is a bit quicker than using F5 on the Wii page itself.

Hope it helps. IT certainly gave me an adrenalin rush :D

there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)
