managed to bag one from John Lewis just now as well, I had a wii since Feb this year - only for our house to be burgled two weeks ago with the wii also stolen.

Just got one now for £179 - nice to not pay over the odds. Worth checking the John Lewis site regularly as mentioned on here.

I was amazed. Managed to see stock, register, log in, order 1, confirm my card with halifax password and click confirm and got confirmation email for the order.

Lucky or what.

Lets hope they did have stock....

Yep, has happened to me too. Don't know what happened to the seller's account, but I certainly didn't get my money back (thankfully it was less than £10).
