Just a quick question about memory. I've bought the kids a wii for Christmas and I know nothing about these things (consoles etc) so will I need to buy some class of memory card? If so, what type and how big (in terms of GB) would be best?
  • Hi Guys, has anyone used these companies before? Can anyone recommend them?

Many thanks in advance, as we would be using money left by late MIL and would hate to lose it on a dodgy deal. x x
  • Youll only need a memory card if you buy a classic controller and some wii points and download some old Nintendo and sega games from there.

Wii internal memory will be plenty for game saves.

Any SD card will do min micro or normal SD

If you have a camera youll prob have one.

dont by the Nintendo branded ones they are just marked up.

Its a great Photo viewer actaully so its worth buying one if you want to look at holiday snaps etc on your 40 incher.

Yes I got it. But I think it may be misleading to those who didn't!

    To clarify...

PAL/EURO/GERMAN/FRENCH Etc. Wii consoles are precicely the same as the UK models, only the plug differs...NOTHING ELSE DIFFERS & THEY PLAY ALL EUROPEAN (INCLUDING UK) GAMES.

    Simple really

Question: Is the United Kingdom in Europe?
Answer: Yes we live in Europe

Question: Will a European wii play a UK game?
Answer: Yes we live in Europe

The plug will need an adaptor to work in the United Kingdom, that's in Europe for anybody who doesn't know.

If that went over their heads they should not be allowed in front of a PC without supervision .

As has been stated 4 and a half thousand times in this thread .
