Like GAMBLER I have just received a despatch message from Amazon.de, I ordered yesterday at 1700hrs. I am a little concerned that consoles from mainland Europe will only play Wii games from Europe.
Can anyone answer this query. I had to order the games from Amazon.uk at the same time to make sure I was pressing the correct buttons as I can't speak German, I ordered the Wii games.
***WARNING*** I ordered with Freemans catalogue over a month ago, when I chased them up yesterday they told me they could not honour my order, they had confirmed delivery in 27 days and taken the money immediately. Very angry with them.

Thanks paulfoel, I just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope Amazon in Germany don't renege on their confirmation as well.

Ordered mine for Amazon.de on Tuesday and it has just arrived. Can't wait to have a go - off to Maplins now for the euro plug convertor. :j

I'm tring to order a wii from there as some of the posts suggested but it says there is a problem with the adress for delivery, yet it will let me order the wii play from the same address, any advice please?

Easy as cutting the wire close to the 2 pin plug off, peeling back the plastic coatings and fitting a 3 pin plug.

Doing this may well invalidate the lovely extended warranty. I would go with the converter plug option instead.

That's because they are now out of stock at Amazon.de (& Amazon.Fr) unfortunately.

You could keep an eye on toysrus this afternoon between 3 & 4. That is when they may get stock looking at their patterns over the last few weeks...but their supply may have dried up too now.
