Been told told today by staff at local Woolworths that no consoles will be available at branches only online and because of shortage only the Mario Party and Ratatouille Bundle

Game in Bangor N.Ireland have them, the manager would not let me buy one by itself and only offered me a bundle, i could choose to pay £278 or £334.
I accused him of price fixing and told him that that was illegal. I asked him for the customer services number and his name and he then said i could have my wii for £179.99 with wii sports.

Dont give in people !!!

Console is £220 if you have 2 sets so no Nintendo haven't done it and its because the cant compete techwise with the 360 so why make it cost more that the bog standard xbox

Game in enfield took delivery of some this afternoon if that helps anyone.

Thanks to everyone on this thread for their input, We went out yesturday and nowhere had any wii's!! So many of the stores said they couldnt get any in for the foreseeable(sp) future!!
So today, I called all he local stores of those mentioned here and after a whole morning and afternoon of "no's" I finaly got through to game(enfield) and sweet guy said he'd get a delivery after 1.30 but couldnt guarentee if wii's would be on it but to call back and if they were then they could hold one until end of store closing. Called over stores while waiting and when the time came number was engaged guess oher people were calling afer delivery time!!
Anyway, they had a few in. Standard pack and then bundles.

game in clydebank had some today.phoned them this morning to be told they were getting delivery after 1pm.Phoned them when i came home from clydebank at 11.30am to be told that they has had them and they were all gone.I was mad as i had went into the shop to be told the same.Must have had them when i asked instore but kept aside for some reason as they werent taking names.:eek: :eek: :eek:
