Been trying to get one in Glasgow for the last week always seem to be in the right place at the wrong time.

Virgin and HMV had got stocks but had just sold out. Argos had stock but if you are not on the pc to reserve them within seconds of them being listed then you have no chance. Spammers trying to sell the reservation codes on flea bay for £20 quid plus. Been on wii consoles but sods law dictates you go away from the pc and stock pops up!!

Going to persevere as it will not defeat me! Last year was the pink ds this year the wii

hi i got one from ebay it came with 5in 1 game and brainteaser with postage it was£240 if any one wants his contact let me no he had more. also i got the original receipt with it, i got it the next day so i was very happy.
got fed up of trecking round. good luck

better hurry as ive seen them for £141.20 on website called IBOOD, and its there deal of the day , . FANTASTIC VALUE SO GRAB B4 THEY GO . P&P should be reasonable

Just to point out that whilst you can chip them Wii's are far more network aware than other previous consoles. Out of the box the Shop channel (for virtual console games) The Mii Channel, Photo Channel, News and Weather all rely on internet connections to work. Until there have been a few games out (there are currently only one in the UK) it's probably not worth chipping them, as Nintendo's response is unknown at the moment.

Nintendo have also taken to warning you before they update that chipped consoles may not work after the update (like the iphone), although there were no reports of it happening.

Most are going for a loss now anyway if you check the completed listings.

But thats just not true...if you look at the completed listings there are none that are going for less than £215 + P+P (infact most appear to be going for £220 - 230). Now at that price ebay takes about £8 so they are still going for £20 over RRP.
