Hit and miss by the look of it.

Walked up and down every store I could think of in Scarborough last week, all none in stock, luckily I came to Gamestation which was my last stop, had an A4 paper in window "Wii now in stock", went inside and they had 3 in stock (pretty poor delivery / stock levels), got mine for £180 , walked out, maybe 2 minutes later went back and the sign had gone along with the other 2 wii's.

I do know someone who is selling the basic package , although they are looking to increase their christmas funds so I doubt it would be rrp.

    Good luck all.

    Dixons are prats.

Some ppl had their orders cancelled as they didn't have enough stock and now they get another load. Why they can't just do it on a first come first serve I don't know.

As to Nintendo holding back stock? You don't really understand business do you? If there are no wiis in the shops then someone is going to buy a 360 or PS3 instead. Makes no sense.

One word for all you frantic parents. You will get one for xmas. You have 2 month lead and stocks are steadily coming in, albeit slowly.
It is the parents who don't think ahead and start looking in December that you should feel sorry for. Poor saps :D

  • Alternate thanks button pressed for 1st comment not second - my comment about stock shortages- yes I do understand business thank you and I thought it would be a shoot yourself in the foot manoeuvre. However whatever the reason after a year of production you would think that this wouldn't happen - do you know the real reason for the shortage then?
There really is no need to be snotty on this thread. There is far too many smart ar@es around on these forums at the moment, but hey if you feel bigger by trying to belittle someone else.

Virtually every thread on here these days is turning into some sort of argument or put down - I for one have had enough this is money saving expert

I guess there still 'might' be a chance that the boat will sink or be boarded by Wii pirates. I have no reason to doubt their sincerity and mine is safely hidden away from the Death offspring.

I would recommend that you carry on looking and if you see a definite, or a better package, consider buying it. You can always cancel with Komplett and I do not believe that they charge your card until they have stock and it is processed.

I kept on looking, but it arrived before any undue concern.

    Hi peeps
My third email from Dixons has finally come through and I have a DHL tracking number - although it is going through security checks at Dagenham or something so goodness knows how long it will take to get to their Sheffield depot, then delivered to me.
    Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow!
Ordered last Thursday, Dixons website (£15 off + free delivery).
    LOL
