Currys have just sent me an email cancelling my order made on wednesday after saying instock at the time. That is really not good enough. I have also ordered one from Dixons and Virgin when Currys wouldn't confirm over the phone that I would actually get one for christmas - as I was not convinced I would get one, my advice is if you see them elsewhere order them and then canel the others when you have one - A Wii in the hand is worth 2 in cyber space!!

That is a superb offer from 'Smyths' but they don't do internet orders with the look of it - nearest store to me in London is 120 miles away!!!!

Good news for anyone travelling to Ireland, Their 2 Cork shops both have them in stock and the Kinsale Road one will guarantee you one if you reserve it (for 1 day anyway)

I ordered mine from Dixons a few weeks ago didnt get my third email but the stock arrived safe and sound after 4 days or so hang on in there.

From other posters it looks like Dixons is hit and miss!
I'm going to hang fire until tomorrow anyway - perhaps they'll email me tomorrow one way or another. Is just the not-knowing for sure - it's driving me insane:eek:
Meanwhile please keep posting availability at other stores! I might need to go elsewhere.

my bundle order from Tesco is now showing as in stock but still a dispatch date of this Friday. I just called and apparently it means its allocated but there's a backlog of sending them out.

I ordered a wii and some posh headphones on the same account on Tuesday. The Headphones are dispatched and the credit card charged - the wii cancelled as my card details were "invalid". No request for me to update the details or provide another card. hmm, same account. If they had run out of stock it would be polite for then to actually say so.

Just got an email from dixons saying goods are now out of stock or something to that effect i was too upset to read it properly. I wouldn't mind but i was out yesterday and didn't even consider looking elewhere cause as far as i was concerned i had the one coming from dixons..... not impressed:mad:
