Problem with BT emails?

Anyone else having problems in sending/receiving emails at the moment? We have a BT Infinity service - wish we'd never bothered (are seriously considering going back to our old one - one problem after another).
I send my emails through Outlook and have a btinternet.com address.
Tried to send emails from 3.00 pm yesterday but it keeps asking me for a password - over and over again. Can't access them from the website either. it's still down now (9.15 am).
Very VERY frustrating. Anyone have any advice - please ???

BT email was down yesterday afternoon in my area both for me and a friend. It wasn't listed on their web site however. It seems better now for us. Its them not you. Log a fault.0
